ABET LAMINATI PRESENTS “REFLECTIONS OF THE GOLDEN AGE” – MDW18

Abet Laminati presents the installation “Reflections of the Golden Age” for Masterly – The Dutch in Milan, which is inspired by the work of the Dutch painters and the typical colours they used: a sparkling reflection of one of the most appealing periods in history, translated into a powerful, original arrangement.

“Reflections of the Golden Age” is a journey through time, in which a number of striking elements from the Golden Age are projected into a more contemporary still life. The pastel shades selected for the wall, the furniture and the chandelier are a direct reference to the colour palette of the great painters of the 17th century. The customized digital print Abet Laminatirealized for the floor is like a kaleidoscopic water reflection of the Dutch light so praised in paintings of that period of time and later on.

Abet Laminati ColoursFull-Colour and Metalli Collection characterize the exhibition space and not only that. For “Reflections of the Golden Age”, Carina Riezebos has made subtle use of Abet laminates, by combining them with hand-blown and hand-coloured glass and with the plywood to enhance a visual language that has both classical and modern touch.
